I don't think so, infact I think you may have to pay some money (I'm a real novice in all this so please correct me to keep the site running, expanding the bandwith(?) so more members can join and things like that. I may have just recited some random words for all I know about this type of thing so please dont base your views or comments or anything else on my comment

Ok I thought that because every one wanted to be one when they needed a mod so I thought there must of been some money involed.

No, probably not. 21stcentury can still do his 'modly duties', as well as lots of other stuff. We seem to be managing ok at the moment.
