Default Wii WiFi USB Adapter

Does anyone know the range on this, and whether it works with Windows Vista? I was thinking of getting one, and need to know if it is worth me buying it.

Also, I'd like to know whether it will work on my PC. We're only able to access the internet via our out-of-range router, so I'm not too sure.

Personally I'd go wireless instead of using this. I bought one and found that it wouldn't work with my computer (I'm on XP) so took it back and got a wireless router instead. There are some people on here who can use it very successfully though.

I've had reasonable success with a datel wifi adaptor, but it did take a fair bit of tinkering to get it to function.

As Sharp Family says, most adaptors will cost around £10 and be reliant on your PC being on and recognising the adaptor properly, whereas a wireless router or bridge or whatever may only be £25 and have none of these issues (I'm now using a Buffalo Airstation for the above reasons).

God appeared to have reacted badly to Bede's prayer for electricity to charge his DS
