Default Sub forum.

Do you think it would be an good idea to have a sub forum in the software forum for Mario Striker , the forum is full of threads about this game and they are scattered all over it, if like me you do not own the game and probably never will its a bit of a pain going through the threads to find other topics.

Just a suggestion

It will die down eventually, and if you did it for Strikers, then there would be one for every other big game. And if you look, there's only 3 main Strikers threads, one discussing the game, one for swapping codes and one for setting up the tournament. The rest are duplicates. So it would be a bit pointless in my opinion.

Thats my point people keep posting the same thing because they do not use the search but if it was a sub category then they would all be in the same place, pruning would eventually empty the forum of posts if no one was using it so then it could be replaced with the latest popular game.

Another workaround would be to sticky a thread saying "all mario striker discussion in this thread" or something like that, this could be done for all popular games as they come out , eventually they could have the sticky removed as they became less popular and they would drop down the list.

I don't think a sub-forum is needed. Sticky is a better idea, but I doubt we need that even. As JBond007 said it will die down eventually, especially if another big game comes out. This happens in most gamer based forums. You get tons of threads for the first few weeks, then once a year if that.

An idea though might be 'Most Popular Current Game' sub-forum. Then when another game comes along that takes over the forums, its purpose can be switched.

No Strikers isn't a big enough game for this, popularity for it will die down fast enough.

I also gotta ask, are the administators even around anymore? to respond to feedback?

I have noticed it's a bit quiet on the Admin/mod side of things. I'm sure they're very busy people (I know WiiStar is) but there have been a lot of threads lately that need taking care of, be it locked, stickied, or moved.

He did, and he assigned bronco92 as admin to take some of the work load. I'm sure they will get round to it, when they are next online.
