Default Reporting Abusive PMs
Is there a way to report abusive private messages one may receive? I know there's a report system for posts, not sure if it's the same for PMs. Cheers.

Hardware: Wii Console, Wii Remote x2, Nunchuk x1, 2000 Wii Points

Not as far as I know as we can't actually view your PM's

You can forward them to an admin/mod though.

Think of something from your childhood, a vivid memory. Between that time and now, every cell in your body has changed. So, were you really there?

Well currently there is 2 ways to view post in vBulletin.

1: The pm's are stored as plain text in the mysql database. You'll need admin rights but its doable

2: There is a unofficial hack available to allow admins to view the pm's via the vBulletin system.

Of course viewing PM's of your users is a touchy subject. But there are things to remember.

If you are viewing PM's you must disclose that fact in the form of terms and conditions. Even existing users must reagree the T&C that states the PM policy. If you are caught and your users are not aware and have not agreed to the T&C it could mean big trouble...

It as been known in America that admins have been sued for big money and here in the UK there is issues with the Data Protection Act for sure.

I for one am totally against it.....

I don't want my PM's quoted on a Thread or something!
