i liked the idea of the hall of shame this made me think? why not a hall of fame!

we should give fame to the contributers who start really good posts alot, give reaaally good information alot and just generally help alot!!

ie... gaffer & Ash! and of course me (oh come on i am vein after all u gotta love it!)

anyways what ya'll reckon?

erm wiistar??? or like if someone says like that they think a certain user should be in there then the moderators/users can like vote?

i mean who decides who should go into the HoS?

The administrators would decide which threads are linked in to the Hall Of Fame (should there be one) and it would have to be one that has been viewed a lot.

You could have something like the 'Wii Talk Awards'

And the nominations for best thread are: ...

There's loads of catogories you could have...
Funniest Thread, Most helpful, Most Interesting, Best Avatar, Best Signature, Best Quote, Best Admin

... The list goes on!

Liking the idea of the awards FooFan. Although, wondering how everyone else might take it when they find out that I won all of them?? (Pause For Laughter, Followed By Sigh As None Is Heard)Anyway, my fantastic modesty aside, these (hall of fame and comp) are both very good ideas in my personal opinion

I like both these idea actually.

Hall of fame should be post that have had the most views/replies/are continually active.

We could have a different award each month possibly?

Sounds like a good idea. That means it's continuous, rather than just the one off

I know this may be getting a bit more complicated now... But, Would the winner be able to have some sort of special badge below their name for the month?
