Search Help

Not sure if this is where to post it.
Need some search help.
Don't want to bog down forum if I can find my own answer in an existing thread.
I have tried several searches of things I would think would be here already and come up blank.
Is there a requirement like quotation marks or something similar to ensure a hit on a search?

If you've done an extensive search and still can't find your answer, then odds are that the thread doesn't exist, and even if it does, it shouldn't hurt to make a new thread. Go for it.

What Nicko said is completely right. What annoys people is when a new thread is started when there is one about exactly the same subject on the first or second page.

As for search tips, just type in a keyword that sums it up, if that doesn't work try some other related words. If that doesn't turn up anything then it's likely that it hasn't been mentioned before.

Like I said before, even if a thread with the same question already exists, it's not much effort to lock it especially seeing as you've clearly searched beforehand.

Like M_the_C said, it's only annoying if someone makes a duplicate thread that's on the exact same page, the likes we've experienced with many a topic on this forum such as Mario Kart and Wii Fit.

i found the exact same thing when i searched for wii fit. it didnt come up with anything. after i looked around for a little while i found there were threads already made. even now searching for uit iot comes up with nothing. i think there may be a problem that needs fixing. someone look into please. thanks
