Its come to my attention that the rep system is being misused. There is somebody on wii talk who always leaves me bad rep for absolutly no reason at all. Now it dosent bother me a great deal but it is starting to get annoying as the reasons they are leaving are absoultly stupid. Maybe it is time to change the rep system or even change it so that when rep is left then the persons id is displayed. Wot do you think?
I think we all get it mate so just try not to let it bother you . I was neg rep stalked for a little while but I know there are enough members here who i'm friends with and who appreciate me and so should you .

I agree with <mojo>. Although it's nice to get good rep I guess at the end of the day it doesn't really matter as long as you know that there are people around here that do appreciate you. Good rep is just an added bonus. You should know ross, regadless of what a few people think the rest of us believe that you're a valued member of the bored!
Whenever I leave rep I always put my name so that people can see it was me who left it anyway. It's nice to know who's saying what about you.

The design of the rep system means that there will always be debate about whether it is a useful addition or not. There's nothing we will ever be able to change about that and we have discussed it a lot in the past!
My advice, much like the people who have posted before me, is to not take the whole thing too seriously. Feel good when you get +rep, and just accept the neg rep. If you're truly a good member then you will have at least one green dot next to your name and I can't think of anyone who hasn't got that!
