Oh yeah I know, that's kind of what I meant. Why can't the wii be more powerful, so we can have games that look like this. I know that graphics aren't everything, but it would mean more expansive, detailed and immersive worlds could be created (not necessarily more realistic.) Graphics aren't hugely important to me, but obviously there is stuff that just isn't possible without the power of the ps3 & 360, same as how 3d hardware opened up new types of games that 2d couldn't achieve.

It is a shame, your right but when nintendo first started creating the nintendo Wii, i believe there were just looking to release the concept itself, nothing to fancy like the PS3 or XBOX360 which is a shame really. But, perhaps in the near future, they will be working on Wii2 which is capable of the same GFX of a PS3+ but with the WiiMote still intact
IMO nintendo wanted to release a console unlike any other out there. In turn, release games that can be compared to none as they are unique and innovative. Ok, there are some games that come out on all/most console's (RE, Simpsons etc), but hey, Mario Galaxy, MP3, RE:UC, to name a few are exclusive. Flashy graphics and and the like are great if you like that kind of thing - but the Wii offers more in the line of gameplay and ease of use.
This game does look amazing. i'm gutted we won't be getting a version for the Wii.
Its gonna be painful when it comes out, watching those PS3 and 360 owners enjoy it. Like watching Euro 2008 without England in it.
I'm glad they gave us Umbrella Chronicles, I loved it but.... I want RE 5 as well! I wouldn't actually mind if the graphics looked a lot worse on the Wii, I'd love another RE game.
