Connecting PS3 to telly!!

Got my PS3 and have had fun in the lounge with it.

Have now moved it to the other room and my Samsung LCD tv will not pick it up using HDMI or component cables!!

Please help, very frustrating!!!

how was it connected in the lounge? try using the same cables on your lcd.

It picked up straightaway with the HDMI in there.

Must be the telly somehow!

try and set it components on the working tv, then move it to the new one. Or try this:

Moving your PLAYSTATION 3 to another television

PLAYSTATION 3 remembers the display settings you give it. If you are moving your PS3 between an SD and an HD TV, you may find you have a blank screen. Simply reset your PLAYSTATION 3 to restore the default SD setting in the following way: turn off the PLAYSTATION 3 system then press and hold the power button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a beep. You can then use the Settings category in the XMB to configure your Display settings manually.

but remember to plug in the SD cables
