I know this is a dead old thread but it came up when I did a search for the new downloadable R&C game Quest for Booty. I'm a huge fan of the series and felt that TOD was(and still may be) the best looking game I've seen for a console to that date(poss still is). The new short episode is cheap, cheerful but thakfully still of the same exacting standards that Insomniac have set themselves.
I have seen some people moan about paying a tenner for about 4/5 hours of gameplay but they don't seem to realise that as it's the same standard everything as a full release(barring length) that it's really a bargain.
Think of the campaign length of other full price games(COD4, Resistance FOM, Turok, Rainbow 6 Vegas)and you'll find that they might only give you about 7-10 hours in total(though, admittedly there's no online for R&C games)so I reckon that for a tenner 4 hours of this quality is a snip!
OK, I'm as big a fanboy as you are gonna find but come on-look at the graphics, enjoy the great gameplay, voice acting and humour and let yourself have a few hours of top value enjoyment-it's what you bought the console for really, isn't it?
