So i got this last Friday (PS2 Version)

What do you guys think...I gotta say, very very dissapointed. All the new thing they promised (diving, shirt pulling and what not) are only for the PS3/XBox 360 versions

In fact, it hasn't changed one little bit from PES6, barring the addition of some eastern european teams, which I will never use.

Oh well, I only paid 25 sheets for it, and from what I hear, the PS3 version is riddled with slow-down!

I have never played it yet on any console Dave, Thought about getting it for the Wii soon though? is it a big no no then?

At the end of the day Ricksta, it's still Pro Evo....the best football game money can buy. My disappointment was how very little has changed since the last version.

That said, it's still better than FIFA

MAybe i'm just tired of the same formula since owning ISS on the SNES. I think the wii version looks..... interesting

My boys have got 4 new football games in the last few months, Jordan got Pro Evo 5 on the PSP, then Aidan got Fifa 08 on PS2, closely followed again by Jordan with Pro Evo 2008 on PS2 and then he just got Player Manager for the PC.

From what Jordan tells me they all offer something different.

I'm not sure which one of the games it is, might be Player Manager but it has my cousin in it, Jordan text me to tell me the other night so if you see Andrew Westall on a game thats my cousin, I don't actually know him that well though as he's 15 or 16 and I'm 35, not a great deal in common really.

i like pes 08 and fifa 08 tbh...play em both on pc, but pes probably edges it...as long as they sort out the bloody laggy online play!

has anyone noticed the tiny glitch on pes08 on ps2? me and my discovered it. it is hard to notice so no wonder the developers missed it. i think it might be just for the ps2 version

elaborate jay...and don't get me started on the whole FIFA vs PES argument! i get really annoyed, because when it boils down to it...they both have good points and bad points! if they could just make a Pro Evolution Fifa (although PEF sounds like a silent fart...) then it'd look great, have all the official licenses and play near perfectly! ah well i can dream! anyway...what be the glitch jay?

when you score in one goal, watch the net at that goal, then watch the net at the other end where the ball did not go in. the net moves as though the ball went in, exactly the same as the goal end

I bought the game last week and...well...I've barely played. Half of me is tempted top trade it in! NEVER thought I would say that after all these years!
