What is the Aim of this forum??? - WiiTalk

It's good to have a forum for Sony consoles in this site however, from what i have seen so far i am struggling to understand the reason for it...

I thought the aim of this forum would be for the Sony fans to discuss the consoles and games. Instead i have seen a lot of posts where people (usually the hardcore nintendo fans) just diss Sony constantly.

I dont understand why so much hatred...It's just ame consoles. ALL OF THEM have good and bad points.

Correct me if i am wrong but is this a forum for Nintendo fans to offload their hatred for Sony and PS3?

i dont have a real big problem with sony or playstation, it's just that the new console isn't that great.

some people have a ps3, and some have a 360, and they can say whatever they want really.

theres loads of good and bad points yeah about all of the consoles.

The thing with a forum is that people can say what they like, and only get modded if they are out of line.

Although I'm a Nintendo nut, I also have a PS2, and until recently still had a PSOne. I think Sony have made these consoles very well, and I bought them because there were so many games on them that I couldn't get on my Nintendo consoles.

We have the eye toy (with Play 1, 2 and 3), which we love (next best thing to the Wii).

But I am not interested in paying £400 or more for a console, and I don't have a Hi-Def screen, so I don't want to play Blu-Ray movies, and therefore the PS3 is of no interest to me.

That's why I haven't been posting in here. But in time I guess if people have something good to say, they will.

Patience. I think all the Sony people are playing their games, too busy to post!

I for one just finished Virtua Tennis 3. Yes I know its on the other consoles, but this (other than Motorstorm) is one of the best I have played on the PS3.

I am frustrated about the lack of decent games (for my taste) for PS3, but give it a while to develop, and I am sure it will be good. In the future, a price cut, slimmer version as we have seen and I suspect it will be better.

I don't have a PS3 nor do I have a 360, I don't want either, however I think they are both really good at what they do.

Hopefully the members on here who have both a Wii and a PS1/2/3 (I do have a PS2) can post on here to talk about their PS issues or stories, however given the size of the forum as it stands at the moment I think it will take time. Also pretty soon we are expecting some new titles on the PS3 which should start getting some of the members on here excited about the potential the PS3 has.

At least I'd like to think so.

Sony Home will also be make or break for Sony.

Nintendo really need to sort some kind of online matchup lobby like MS and Sony are doing.

lol, id love to own a ps3, but its just that sick price of it. so im gonna diss them for forcing us paying extra money. ok, not FORCING but for those serious sony gamers it is. Thanks sony for rising the price as much as a car can cost

But, tbh, a car can be bought for as little as £50...before you get a £1000 repair bill! Or maybe that's just me getting picky!

I've bought a car for a £1 before, albeit from a friend who was going to scrap it which would have cost him £25. I gave the car to another friend, a mechanic who used it for parts in a project he was working on. Nonetheless a car for a £1, if I could get a PS3 for that price I'd have a few by now.
