Sony flooded the market with their launch, and thus, had the best selling console at launch date in UK history, good and bad. All Sony did was expose EXACTLY how few people want/could afford the PS3. Don't you think if Microsoft or Nintendo delayed their launch to manufacture more Wiis and Xboxs they'd have done the same thing?

Quantity over quality is the name of the game. The fact the PS3s are still in stock has made it overly apparent that Sony are making more than they can sell, that is never a good thing.

The race isn't over yet, in fact it has hardly begun! The time when the 'winner' will become apparent will be early 2008 just after the rush that will happen in December...

you cant talk about sales yet the ps3 has only been releashed worldwide for about a month !

Well... I have to be honest, I'm real happy with my Wii choice...

But someday... someday... when i get meself an 42 inches LCD HDTV (and finished paying for it), then I will surely think of maybe buying a ps3...
Maybe not for all the good reasons, because then I would be interested in having a Blu Ray player... so the PS3 seems a good choice for that...

But wait oh wait... don't Blu Ray has to win the HDDVD War first??

Rats...

Seriously I would rather go with a PS3 than Xbox 360... I never could get inspired with the xbox games... (or interested long enough)
I believe that the ps3 is the better of the two, just to pricy right now...
