From the article:

- 8 different cameras, and each of them at 3 heights
- It also mentions that all 32 CL teams have full kits and names
- Players change facial expression when they lose the ball, they scream
- A.I. has improved very much according to the article
- The players are very much like the real counterparts
- Great illumination and weather effects
- 19 Stadiums
- 8 Players, 4 Online for regular match
- 7 players, 8 online for Become a Legend
- The Spanish commentators are great
- For kit editing, add images for Logos AND sponsors
- Share replays with friends through the Internet

The good:
“The Saga has reached a level of simulation that is hard to improve on”
“Smoother animations but Mechanical”

Conclusion:
“The Saga has made a huge step forward, although it has not yet found the ’sweet spot’ on the new consoles”
The Bad:
“The game engine is stuck on last year’s, with improvements”

The general feeling of the reviewer is that aside the graphics and Licenses which are better in FIFA, the ‘legendary’ playability of PES remains.
It would be nice to have the review of FIFA that is in the same magazine.

Bioshock: 93%.
As fresh today as it ever was, Bioshock's an essential PS3 play.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009: 88%
Sterling footy action but the lack of new ideas is starting to grate.

Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway: 70%
Inconsistant, but the tactical play will appeal to some.

TNA iMPACT!: 69%
A sillier and simpler game than Smackdown but a viable alternative.

SBK08 Superbike World Championships: 54%
Ugly and uncompromisinly tough. One for bike fanatics only.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: 59%
This is just another mundane Star Wars game to throw on the pile.

Pure: 75%
You'll love it at first but Pure soon becomes far to familiar.

FIFA 09: 83%
The best FIFA yet, but EA are still a few goals short of the title.

Mercenaries 2: World In Flames: 76%
Technically weak and slightly scrappy but tons of simple fun.

Small but perfectly formed arcade for a bargain price.

OPM gave PES2009 a 9/10 I think. After last year though I'm gonna have this season with it on the Wii I reckon just for the change in controls as the whole footy game year in year out thing got too much with the online mess last season and I couldn't possibly go Fifa it'd be like cheating on the missus after all this time! Still looks like Konami getting their act together-lets pray it extends to sorting out the worst lag(among many other issues) in the history of online gameing(recent anyway!).

i think the reviewer are a joke. Its like with fifa they are like well its still missing that thing come off it its a great game and not much could beat it
