Im using a SpeedToach router through AOL braodband. By the way its wireless. Anyway it worked fine then i took my ps3 rounds a friends and had to change the settings like the WEP. When i come back and try to set it uo with the WPA i enter that and do everthing Auto and enable USP and dont enable proxy sever. I have tried it with WEP and WPA, but no luck. It Fails Optaining IP Adress everytime
This it was i do,
Easy
Wireless
SSID
WPA
IP adress Auto
DHCP dont set
DNS Auto
MTU Auto
Dont use proxy
UPnp Enable
Sounds like you're possibly entering the wrong pass key? Have you tried disabling WEP / WPA all together just to check this?

Do you mean you have tried this on you're PS3 or you're Speedtouch router settings? You would need to go into the routers config pages and disable from here... I don't recommend to keep the security off ofcourse, Just wanting to check if it works when disabled on the router itself Geendude, don't worry, between the guys on WiiTalk, we will get you back online in no time

Maybe try un-plugging the Router for about 15 seconds, then plug it back in and try again. I used to sometimes get an error like this on my PC, and doing that fixed it.
Sounds rather like the same issue lots of people had with setting a DS up on a network. I haven't got settings to hand right now, but if you do know your PCs IP address, add 6 to the last number which should be unoccupied (an auto setting invariably clashes with something in my experience DS wise). Sub-net mask is generally 255.255.255.255 (I think.....).
I sent settings on to someone else recently, and can dig these out again if you like.
God appeared to have reacted badly to Bede's prayer for electricity to charge his DS
