Hey Benny I don't really understand this comment? I will try to answer as best I can read it.
The point of Drake's fortune is that in those 8 hours (most of which is pure gameplay, maybe only 15mins of cut-scenes at most) the game achieves greater and more engaging heights than some games that last much much longer.
I really can't express how much I enjoyed this game; everything just feels right about it; the story feels complete without becoming preachy, all elements that are in this game feel like they should be there and not just something they tacked on and just in general the whole thing looks really good.
Also if you think about it a lot of these types of games are this short now:
CoD 4: 6-8 hours
TR Legends: 8-12 hours
Gears of war: 6-8 hours
Assassin's creed: 8-12 hours
Dark sector: 6-8 hours
Halo 3: 6-8 hours (in fact all halo games)
(to name but a few)
