err... I have *cough* ordered a PS3 :-S (for anyone that followed the other thread it's on a buy now pay later deal as I have ordered the sku that isn't available yet but will be in about a month's time)...

I know it is stupid and dumb considering I already have the other 2 current gen consoles but MGS4 kind of looks interesting; Drake's fortune is an action plat-former which i know I will love seeing as I like TR games. Resistance 2 impressed me more than gears, oh and Ratchet and Clank looks like the sort of thing i'd enjoy... and of course... the real reason...

so yeah start bashing me now please.... Buying a console for three-four games is simply mad... Especially as any cross platform game I will get on 360 for achievements and I prefer the 360 controller...

Can anyone be happy for me... please???

I remember a feww years back when i owned a GC and an Xbox, i went out and bought my seond PS2 (id traded the other a while before) just to buy/play the Transformers game that came out on it near the end of its heyday.

I'd love to have both. But the Wii is great for me atm (PES 2008 ...Love It!)

Out of the two i would recommend the 360 first - better online / better library of games and content and just feels more complete and rich.

Is it just me, ...but I always find it super funny when I hear about guys who are either married or have a serious g/f, and arn't allowed to own more than 1 or 2 of the same things, ie/ game console or guitars etc,

Not just aimed at you Lep, just came across quite a few people in the same position!,..could never see myself in it to be honest, it just wouldn't work, for a start I've got a stack of consoles, and guitars, and they're going to grow lol,....maybe if I met that certain someone I might see things differently, ...but I highly doubt I'd stand for anyone telling me I can't own a ps3 and a 360 etc.


but back to the topic,...its perfectly reasonable buying a console just for the 3/4 games you've mentioned, I mean,..they're obviously going to be classics, and the console is relatively just starting its shelf-life,...so you can expect even better games to be released,

also the fact you've just bagged a decent blu-ray player makes it alittle more future-proof
