Played the demo, thought it was ok. Played the demo some more and started to notice that it was a little lifeless. I'll take a wide birth on this one. Crappy games usualy get heavily discounted in stores when they don't sell. This is one of them.

The box art for haze looks really cool but, the game is bloody awful, you need nectar every minute, the AI is shocking, the controls are all over the place and the storyline is terrible, i just can't play it

Now it's fine mocking PS3 for a cack exclusive but there wasn't any reason for this huge mess of a game. Free Radical are a good Dev team and (Timesplitters, christ the same people made the first, great, Goldeneye way back)there was no need for the good ideas to go so FUBAR, was there?
I heard all sorts af talk about them having to design their own physics engine at a late date when someone pulled from the project-but, gah, y'know rumours? Whatever, the point is it could happen to any game with a good premise for a game AND with a good team working on it. Should have been a great game and as far back as 18 onths ago it looked better than it did on release.
Be warned cos it just goes to show what can happen , even to experienced Devs, when politics and delays infect a project. Lets all just pray that we get a good Timesplitters 4 from Fee Rad to make up for this abortion.
I must admit this game looked really appealing to me but after doing a bit of research and reading the reviews i found out the same. The game doesnt live up to the expectations. I did read somewhere though that if the developers manage to sort out the flaws Haze 2 would be fantastic (if they decide to bring one out).

That's the thing Wiinter. I was so up for this game from way back(one of the reasons(along with the obvious ones)I got my PS3 and the fact is there's still a good idea there and the game SHOULD have been cool but the script was bad and everything else followed.
I just don't get what they were doing during all the delays, they certainly weren't polishing the game and I thought it looked better a year earlier if I'm honest.
Doubtful whether we'll ever find out the truth on this one but I've read a few places that they're already doing art and storylines for the sequel. I hope so as this was a missed opportunity to make a shooter more thoughtful and the premise could have been used way better.
But the dialogue, my god the dialogue! I played the demo and had enough of the script AND the voice acting within minutes. So hopefully there'll be a new lead writer and definitely better actors next time out. Still praying that Timesplitters4 isn't broken too.
