As I said earlier is not that important to me, an added bonus if you like. Blue ray as a format to watch movies on to me is just too soon, A lot of people have just replaced there videos with DVD's are they expected to do so again?? It's great if you have plenty of disposable income especially in the current climate but i'd say the vast majority don't, and for things to succeed you need to appeal to the vast majority. For games thats a different ball game as gaming is a fast evovling technolgy that needs its boundaries to be pushed.
I've had a quick scan on play and I think the PS3 games present and future appeal more to me than the 360's except Ninja Gaidon! but I cant go for a console based purely on one game can I! or can I?

If Ninja Gaiden is the only thing you would want a 360 for, then go PS3.
