GTA advice needed

I would say for map size san andreas..

For a good game GTA 3

For a more comic game, and generally running around causing chaos Vice City

IV kicks san andres ass , IV is in a reconisable area new york wich makes it more fun to play rther than, ohh that building , its ohh empire state building

San Andreas if you like exploring,

Vice City for all corrected annoyances/glitches from gta3

Gta 3 just to know where it all began in the 3D world

And the city story games arn't 'crappy' ports, be grateful they decided to even release them on ps2, as handheld games theyre amazing, consider it a bonus for ps2 users who don't have a psp and want extra missions to do,

I have to agree, San Andreas for me is definately the better of all gta games so far, don't get me wrong, I love gta4 and think its amazing with what they've done, but SA just brings back memories =D

San andreas you could drive the planes and jump out in mid air and use a parachute... that was epic

Just bought Vice City and San Andreas off eBay for £12.50. Thanks for the advice everyone!

A bit late now, but i recommed getting San Andreas for PC and then downloading the online thing, so you can play online. Theres loads of different servers with various things going on, more so than the official one the latest on XBox etc I believe...

SA - MP or something you need to google to find the dl thing...and you can use a controller = proper controls

SA:MP is the one where ya can't get out the vehicles.. SAM is teh deathmatch one where you can drive, walk etc and is much better.. although you could get a multiplayer mod for GTA3 or VC on the PC if ya wanted..

..but from ya 1st post it sounds like ya want a PS2 version.. and from what you said about what you want out of it I think I'd suggest GTA3.

My fave of the 3 was Vice City, San Andreas was alrigh but I still prefer VC


But hell, if it was an option I'd say get all 3 if you can

This badbaby I played SA-MP San Andreas Multiplayer mod for Grand Theft Auto (GTA SA) was quite good for a free SA and SAMP i ent complaining either where the different servers had different scenarios so you could become a proper 'gangster' in places and I could get out of vehicles...I'd run and hunt noobs fairly often
