I know it is not a game, but it is software we can use to play most media types (am playing .avi for kids even as I type).

Basically Orb 2.0 runs on your PC which should be left on when you want to access data from it to use on your wii.

Play most media types as it appears to convert them to flash for our convenience, woot.

Things I encountered worth noting:
- I have a few firewalls, Norton was easy to configure using their instructions but went on my bt router and added the device ports as suggested for PC firewalls just in case.... not sure if it mattered.
- It actually failed to test when I was installing even after firewalls were configured, but when I can continues and came to use it with the wii it worked first time... so don’t get to concerned if it fails the test, just note the TCP/UDP ports to open on paper so you can revisit the firewalls just in case.

Would rate this programme top marks IF the wii browser was not so rubbish. It is the browser which lets it down if anything.

I think Orbs great, good to see lots of people using it. I agree the browser could be a lot better though, can be a bit fiddly finding tracks you want to play (this is probably because theres so many on my hard drive to sift through). I only really use it for music, so I just set up playlists on my PC and select these on the Wii. This makes it alot simpler to navigate on the Wii.

Would be good to see a Wii optimised new interface.... Can't really complain for free though I guess.
