Endless Ocean
Alot of people are asking, but I see no review.
Let me intorduce myself, briefly before going on. My names Alex, and I bought a Wii about 5 months ago after owning the Nintendo GC a grand period of 2 weeks. I now have around 50 Games in total for both GC and Wii.
Im 20 years old, a student, so I work Hard, play harder.
Now,
ENDLESS OCEAN
Welcome to the submerged world of the Hawaian seas. In this totally interactive exploration game, you are taken to the depths of the sea, in search of literally hundreds of fish.
Such a simple concept and easy way to play, using just your Wiimote, point and swim, as simple as that for the basics.
It takes around 10minutes to get started, including your mandatory tutorial. Once this is completed you are effectively free to roam the sea.
You can either, roam freely, or take advantage of the story line included to play along. The story line is simple and by no means difficult to grasp. You are simply asked to dive in certain areas, and search out certain information.
In addittion to this there are stories, such as an email may come through asking you to take some photographs, or even take a client diving, whatever you get asked to do you can decline.
It really is up to you.
With 200 species of fish, real fish too, professional divers can identify them from the screen. It is an experience that you cant really believe unless you play it yourself.
The graphic detail is amazing, so much detail has gone into every aspect of this game, and as many of you will be aware water is so difficult for developers to get right.
Sound, sound effects are great, a simple hayley westenra soundtrack backs the whole game, but if you add a SD card with MP3 to your Wii you can back up the whole game with your ouwn music.
I am so pleased that this game has come out and with prices from £16 its a bargin. You get more than £1 per hour play from it, how many games give you that now?
Final assessment:
Graphics - 9/10
Gameplay - 10/10
Price - 10/10
Sound - 8 -10
Replay value - 9/10
Total rating : 92% A* Game
