The Legend Of Zelda : Twilight Princess Review By Vein

Aaaah the beautiful game. No not football, The Legend Of Zelda of course. Perhaps the greatest series of video games ever created, the zelda series has always seem to impress and amaze! With each new game they bring out they seem to keep to the key elements that make the legend of zelda unique and yet each time manage to add more in to make it different! With Great characters, storylines, dungeons, mini games and lets not forget all the great items!

Graphics 9.8/10
Brilliant, Fantastic, Beautiful all words that could be used to describe the graphic. Their fresh, sharp and not too realistic!
the emotions on links face still doesn't change much as in older versions but then if it did we would complain!
Gameplay 10/10
Pure Genious!! As always Zelda never seems to seize amazing me!
Making full use of the wii's unique approach to gameplay, this is a very enjoyable game. I spent many nights laying on my bed slashing my wiimote all over the place!
Nintendo added some greatly anticapated features such as horseback riding! Running about on epona slashing away at enemies , getting your bow out and shooting every thing that flys around you is simply brilliant!
Not Too difficult but not too easy! Fun for all with puzzles that'll keep you busy for ages! Not partically good for replaying ability but with other 60hours of gameplay to keep you busy theres no need to play again in my oponion! But with plenty of secrects and mini games you can always go back and try to find them or just play the mini games!
Sound 10/10
Oh yes of course the sounds of zelda...all those little tunes that let you know when you've found something new or worked out a puzzle! Bring a smile to my face evertime! The sound of pulling your sword out or fireing an arrow echoing from your wiimote to the tv just pure amazing! All in all the sound is just pure bliss
Control 10/10
Ah Yes the controls, very well put together and very easy to use! With the Z targeting System still intact and as useful as ever making it easy to switch between enemies. As already said making full use of the wiimote! Just swing your wiimote and out pops your master sword, and then with a few swipes down goes your opponent! The easy use is just one of the reason that this game is so enjoyable!
Story 10/10
A great story as always, never disappointing! Constantly keeping you wondering whats happening next! In-Depth and exciting! Theres not much more i can say about it!

Overall TWighlight Princess is perhaps the best installment of the series ever second only to OOT, with a stroyline that'll keep you hooked and playing till the early morning!

I think that this is a good review and would deffianatly go out and buy zelda now. I was thinking about getting it but was unsure wethetr it was any good.

Giving virtually everything 10/10 is maybe wrong, shows a little bit of biase, but I can't really say that as it's an awesome game!!!!!

Does anyone know how much easier this game is than Ocarina of time? This shall be a real key desision in buying TP...So if Ocarina of time was 10/10 for hardness (with the puzzles) what would tp be ?

well i'd say something like 7/10 compared to oot but then i was younger and hadnt played a zelda game when i first played it, i'd say if you've never played a zelda game before then TP would be something like 9/10 for hardness

For me personally, I got stuck on OOT and never completed it. But with TP I never got stuck, but it takes a long time because of the massive-ness of the game! However, I was about 5/6 years younger when I was playing OOT and I think that has a lot to do with it!
You seem to love OOT Ed, so I think the day you get TP is the day that you play the true sequel to OOT and the day you realise just what you were missing!

As for the review, I liked that fact you seperated each area of the game and gave them a individual score, but I think this should be done at the end of the review and you need a beginning bit that goes into more detail about the game. What people can expect, How the controls work, in comparison to other games and maybe a few screen shots.
That's just my view on it. It would mean the review would be a bit longer, but that's not a bad thing if you can give people a good idea of what the game is about and your take on it

cheers for the advice foo!! i'll be certain to use it! i might b doing another when i get back from holiday as i'm gonna buy the sims 2 castaway for the psp at the airport and mayb a new ds game havn't decided which one yet!

hahah in my opinion the hardest zelda game ever is zelda 2 or majoras mask wow

I have completed every Zelda game going (you could call me a fan of the series )

Ocarina was a tough one especially the water temple always the hardest followed by the spirit temple for me.

Majora's mask I preferred over OoT call me crazy but just personal preference.
The first time I ever made an all nighter was playing majoras mask and it was very difficult, I even got the Deity mask (acquired by getting every other mask in the game) which made the last boss very easy

Twilight Princess I loved although the bosses are easy (Metroid bosses are the best ) it was still a fantastic game and if you own a Wii and not twilight princess then you must be some sort of weirdo
