The game I am talking about is the Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. This game is a game that left me awestruck from beginning to end. The dungeons, the mini-games, the characters, the items, and the bosses! Don’t think thats all because that is just the tip of the iceberg. This game is so great and addicting it will enslave you for hours. The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time has innovation written all over it.
Graphics: 10/10
Links transition into the 3d world was definitely a smooth one. The special effects and the cut-scenes are very well done for Nintendo 64 standards. All the characters look very nice and it is very nice to see that all the characters don’t look exactly the same as if they were all clones. All the dungeons were unique and different. Making it a fun experience every time. Also it is fun to just explore because Hyrule is very expansive in Ocarina. The graphics are picture-perfect in Ocarina of Time.( For Nintendo 64 lol)
Gameplay: 10/10
Zelda may be more of an RPG-type of game, but there are a lot of action elements. It isnt a turn based RPG but a free for all. I cant quite put my finger on what makes Zeldas gameplay so incredible and awsome! It is just one of those games that you have to play yourself to be able to truly understand how incredible this game is. The environments are so expansive you cant help but want to explore them. The dungeons are so unique and deep every time you finish one you feel this feeling of accomplishment and cant wait for the next dungeon. The boss battles what can I say? All the bosses are different and are really fun to battle even if they are really hard. My personal favorite is the Bongo Bongo. He was one of the hardest bosses o fased. I hated fighing him but he was fun. The gameplay is really fun and addicting. It will keep you satisfied for hours.
Sound: 10/10
Incredible. That is all I can say. I love the music in this game it brings bak the old times of when i first played it. The music soundtrack is perfect for the game with new and original tunes. The music is so clear and well thought-out it is like the music is massaging your ears. All of the sounds are very haunting and can get stuck in your head. The sound effects are done very well and are very real it all is just a real treat for your ears.
Control: 10/10
Controlling Link in this game is dream. He is easy to maneuver and hop platforms. Using any item is easy and aiming with them is really simple. The Z-targeting system is a dream and is very accurate. The Ocarina of Time is the first game to use a targeting system and the idea was executed perfectly. You’re not likely to have any problem with the controls in this game.
Story: 10/10
I cant quite remember every little detail about the story but I do remember it being very deep and involved. Here is what I remember: Ganondorf is after the Tri-force again. And to do that he must get the other pieces from Link (you), and Princess Zelda. So you begin as a kid and Ganondorf does not have full power yet. But something goes wrong and you have travel in time to when you are a teenager and defeat Ganondorf. It is a very well though and brilliant story possibly the best to come from a video game. It is pretty much one the first video games to be really cinematic along with Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid.
Challenge: 10/10
This is one tough and long game! It isnt hard like Contra but it still offers quite a challenge. The bosses are tough and the puzzles can make your brain fry! The dungeons are massive and filled with surprises and danger and there are fun mini-games that require skill. This game will test your Zelda skills to the limit. Dont expect god mode or all weapons in this one cheaters.
Game Length: 10/10
No wonder this game got delayed so much! The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time is without a doubt one of the longest. You start off as just this little kid with a tunic, a wooden shield, and a little sword. Then by the end of the game you have the master sword an array of tunics and a holy shield of light. And between that so much stuff happens so many bosses so many dungeons and so many items. The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time promises many hours of gameplay.
Replay Value: 6/10
Like most games made by Nintendo replay value isn’t very abundant. The only reason you might want to play this game all the way through is if you want to beat with a lower time record or you really really liked the game enough to want to play all the way through again. If you do start playing it again after you have already beaten it you probably will not make it past the third dungeon unless you have nothing to do in your life. It is almost as if it is Nintendo policy to never put something in a game that can make that can the player’s experience any easier (example. all weapons, full health). That is also what makes Nintendo games so good.
Overall The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time is one ofthe greatest video game ever created. There has never been a game like it; there will never be a game like it (Besides Zleda TP. they kinda made it like it.). I recommend this game to every single person who likes to play a good game.

Yea thats true. Its better too play some of the old games if you haven't played a Zelda game before. The reason for this so you will understand Zelda games much better and what there about. I think begginers should at least play Orcarina of Time and Majoras Mask before they jump into other zelda games. If you play these two game you will learn alot about the games and character.
Like The TriForce. You wont know where it came from and is purpose and what power it hold. Then you wont know about some of the gods and Fairys. In Orcarina of Time it tells you About the Triforce, What the Triforce Does, Who made the Triforce, The purpose of the Triforce, and the power it hold. Then it tells you a little bit about the gods who made the Triforce.
Also you wont what Ganondorfs true purpose is. It kinda easy to tell. His pupose is To Collect All three Triforces. Each Triforce means diffrent things. Power, Wisdom, and Corage. Power is held within Ganondorf so he was one and Wsidom is Zelda. That why he always takes her and waites for the power of Courage, Link, to come for her so he can destroy Link and have all three final Triforces and He will have Ulitimate Power and Rule the entire world. In orcarina of time He locks the gods that are in the Temples. (fire, water, forest etc.)So they wont try to stop him and kill him. That why you go and save them.
Princess Zelda Hold the key to killing Ganondorf. She has the power of Light witch will be able to kill Ganoondorf. Then Link Closes the deal with the Master Sword and Lengendary Light Erows. Why do you think his first objective is to take princess Zelda away and lock her in a safe space so she cant get away and destroy. him
You see thats stuff you miss out on when you skip some games.
I think I'm destined to hate this game...When I got it I found it near impossible. It took a few months then I got back into it, quite addictive. Soon I was into it fully, then I got Fifa. Now, I'm probably not going to play on it in ages. I might start playing around November, by then Xmas will be soon. Xmas = new wii games. I'm just never going to get round to playing it am I?!
