If this is in the wrong place can a Mod move or lock this please?
First Review - Super Smash Bros. Brawl:
Gameplay:
Wow... just wow, I guess I should get started with the classic mode, classic mode is basically what you had in the first and second games in the series, you go through a series of stages occasionally going through a bonus round such as Break the Targets. In this game they did the same but with Break the Targets, they made a level system and you can unlock the levels depending on the difficulty you go through classic mode with. Speaking of difficulty, there are five difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard and Intense.
There are thirty five different characters to play with, and most them are completely different in fighting styles, there are lots of Newcomers to this edition to the series. Also there if a different mode of Gameplay known as the Subspace Emissary, it's basically a side scrolling platformer with a story. You get to play as every character from the game, and going through this mode is the fastest and easiest way to unlock all of the characters, you play with the characters the same way as you do on classic mode, so you smash bash and brawl your way through these side scrolling levels.
Controls:
The controls are perfect for classic mode, but you can't really say the same thing for the Subspace Emissary. the jumping can some times be a little
stiff when you try to jump over a pit or something, you end up having to use the recovery move to get over them, which can be a pain wit characters like Mario and Fox who can't be controlled until they are at the floor, and from time to time I stop immediately when I try to dash, but aside from those nitpicks the controls are fantastic, and perfect for the type of game it is.
Extras and Unlockables:
There are literally tons of things to unlock, from characters to music for the stages which can be assigned on how much they play on certain stages. You get trophies, stickers, characters, part for the stage builder and songs. These things give SSBB lots of replay value, and a game that you will turn back to after completing it which can't be said for some games.
Online Play:
Not many games on the Wii have online play, but this game is different and it does, most of the time you go on SSBB is just to play online, you can have tournaments and little friendly matches with your local or online friends or just play with anybody who is looking for a quick match at that time. You can set custom taunts that are exclusive to friend matches. If you have a friend round your house, you can get them to play with your friends who are on SSBB at the same time.
Overall:
Overall, brawl is a fantastic game that is definitely worth picking up for your Wii, it has great controls, tons of unlockables and amazing graphics for the Wii, you can play on it for hours on end without getting bored (I have short attention span and this keeps me gripped for a good while), it's great for parties or when you have friends over, it's the perfect way to settle a difference with someone if you don't want a real fight. Nintendo have really outdone themselves on this one, although there is lag on the online play and some control issues on the Subspace Emissary, also a really stupid feature called tripping it happens when you are on ice, about to dash or when you are just walking around.
Rating:
9/10

Agreed, sometimes it takes forever for people to be found... well when more people hear about it in England I'm sure it will be a different story.
True
But i feel the online in this game are slightly flawed, unlike Mario Kart Wii which finds players fast and the like. Hopefully Ninty will improve on this in the future like they said

Nintendo have said they are going to improve the online modes in the near future so thats something to look forward to!
