I'm starting to think I really missed out on this one(I'd already got it on PS3 and the online performance was dreadful and FIFA seemed to be catching up, boo), so does everyone reckon 09 is going to be even better? I've already heard great things about it and have got bored of buying the same game on PS and 360 the past few years as without licences and no signifigant gameplay or AI changes you might as well just edit(considering it's broken online for PS3 at least)the player moves for an afternoon and save some cash.
Howver, I'm really intrigued at how the control scheme works on the Wii and hope it's just the way to stave off the frustration of last seasons PES on PS3 and the general lack of progress in football games in recent years. Yes, FIFA have improved but they still haven't caught Pro Evo and the gameplay/AI hasn't changed a great deal for the past four seasons.
