We Love Golf Full Review (JPN)

Your kidding ! So you have to play through with one save file !?

Am I the only person whose family likes to have their own files to play games with, so that they can gather their own stats etc............I have never found this issue on any other console just the Wii. Seems really strange to me and as though we have taken a step backwards in game design (not with the console, its fab, just some of the games and how they save)......

I had this game on pre-order but not so sure now, as they are disappointed with Pangya and the fact that only one of us can go through story mode unless we are willing to share a player and share stats etc. This seems such a basic requirement, I don't understand why some games have this, while others can do three or so save files.........very odd. I now have a daughter and Hubby who are gutted with pangya as they can't have their own saves, it was tantrum time here this afternoon when we discovered that, now they hate it for that reason alone LOL

Have you tried to create a new player and save it on a new file? I am hoping this changes with the UK release, here's hoping, keeping everything crossed.

Yea, you don't even specify a user file. Now its all in JPN so i may be missing it and also it may get updated for the US/UK market as a lot of things are being re-worked i.e swing mechanics, graphical tweaks.

Its a very basic package though with an emphasise on playing rather than earning, the whole game can be opened up in a few hours and scores are saved to individual mii's

Thanks for the info Tetsu. Looks like I will have to buy this one myself, the family won't chip in on this one now unless we buy more SD cards and get round the saves that way, bit of a pain though

Im sure I'll have fun with it though, I love Everybody Golf on my PSP

Cool as i said though there's basically nothing to achieve anyway. Open up all the courses requires little to no skill and then that's the game wide open. Its literally just a golf package for the sake of playing, which is also its strong point.

Okay, just started Pangya properly today. Oh wow! This is so good. it had me stumped at first, i played over and over on the Match Play but got nowhere, then went on to the story mode, and it was much easier ! I am now happily buying new things, making actual progress and loving every moment.
Roll on the UK release of We love Golf, if its better than this then I will be one happy girlie !

bit disappointed to see the old crazy golf hasnt been kept as well

used to have a bash at that when i didnt have time for a full round of golf, shame that they took it out(it may have been taken out after the first one)

Just bought this and played my first 18 holes, thanks to this review! I'm very impressed so far, though it is a bit easy. I'm guessing it'll get harder as I go and I'll have to turn off the irritating guide stuff anyway.

What I really wanted was something more fantastical; the same type of game but crazy golf style, with bizarre courses. This is great stuff so far though, slots in neatly after I tired of WiiSports golf

If you want something a bit more far out, get panya golf. And totally agree got to turn off all the guide stuff, just gets boring with it on.
