SOTW General Introduction and Rules - WiiTalk

Hi Guys,

Well, you may have recently noticed that the Fan Art section of the WiiTalk Forums has now moved to its new home, within the General Chat Section. This is due to it basically looking out of place and not really belonging in its original place, the Introduce Yourself forum.

Now that this section has moved, we have had an all new SOTW (Sig Of The Week) section added into the Fan Art, in order to keep it in some kind of organised order. I contacted JBond and Foo a few days ago, in regards to it as i thought it was in a state, the way in which posts were everywhere and not overlooking the fact that it was very cluttered to say the least. The idea was to have a new SOTW section added into the Fan Art Sub Section, so that we could keep track of it correctly!

So, without furthur ado, i welcome you to the new, SOTW Section!!

Right, i have had a think about how we are going to do things, and im thinking we start all over again, with the SOTW Discussions and Voting, starting with SOTW#1 again, slate cleaned and that includes me losing my two consecutive wins nutter

. So, as you may have guessed by now, i will be running the SOTW from now on so i will be creating threads and the polls everyweek however, i would love input from all of you! So, if you think you have a good idea for SOTW, then please PM and i will see how we can implement it.

Furthermore, just to go over some basic rules of SOTW...

1. There will be a "SOTW# Discussion" Thread created everyweek from tomorrow where you will be able to talk about that particular SOTW and also post any entries.

2. After a "SOTW# Discussion" has ran for a week, there will then be a "SOTW# Voting" created where you will be able to vote and post on your favourite SOTW's...

And...thats it! I hope everyone is ok with this and if you do have any problems, let me know.

Well, i thought it was getting a mess too, i mean there would be some weeks where one WiiTalk Member was doing it and then the next, someone else would be doing it and in my eyes, thats not how to run a SOTW. Thus giving me the reason and oppurtunity to contact Foo and JBond about it and they got it all arranged for me, and other WiiTalk members that enjoy the SOTW.

All the other SOTW's im going to see if we can archieve them somewhere, but as of tomorrow, we will be starting all over again, hope everyone is ok with that?

What i will be doing thou is posting the Discussion later on this afternoon/tonight, to give people an oppurtunity to settle in with the new rules etc etc. So, expect the Discussion for SOTW#1 to be done later!

maybe in this forum we could have a subforum titles ARCHIVE

I thought that we were letting everyone host the SOTW because you could notice the difference between Wooden boy's and the one I was hosting.

Well, when everyone is hosting it, thats when it gets messy, topics and polls everywhere, some of them not working and sometimes, people were not here to even create the SOTW Poll, meaning that we were out of SYNC. This way, there is one person dedicated to doing it, and it will be done correctly.

the only reason i let people have a try is because they pm'ed me asking i was in charge

and thought id be nice or in the words of 300 "i am a kind god" lol awell sure kandi has some grate ideas but can i send you a pm for my idea for next week

or are you handeling all that aswell
