If your in a marriage/co-habiting situation and are past the it all being new stage you can comfortably fart and burp as if you were sitting on your own, go to the loo when the other is in the bath and can walk around looking dog rough in the morning.

What about the best thing about getting older you can buy whatever game you want because your in charge and you can have the Wii and the Xbox 360 because you pay the bills

i'm soon to be 22, and me and my mates reminice (sp?) all the time. i remember my first computer (an atari), first phone (when 14) motarola - house brick! What life was like before cable and sky. when my parents were thinking of getting it, all i wanted to know was if i would still be able to watch sonic or not.

and its not even getting old... its that the world is changing sooooo fast.

oh, and as for text speak: its just lazyness. i HATE when people send whole messages, with only a few vowels...

That is something good. I'm only 22, but I feel so much older sometimes only a year out of college. Its amazing the changes your life takes just a year after. I like the freedom, but the economic situation here is a little freaky. I'd like to have job security.

Now that makes me feel old. A calculator was about the most high tech thing I had at school.

Looking back to the days before mobile phones, week in week out we would all go out on the town with no particular plan of where we would be drinking and we almost always managed to end up in the same place at the end of the night. We never had any need for a mobile. Nowadays everyone seems to spend the evening on the phone getting updates of where their friends are and where they're going next.
