..that you have a water supply to your houses!!

I woke up this morning to find our house is devoid of any kind of h20 supply.

Fortunately, we have facilities at work, which is oly 10 mins from house, but its things like this that make you realise what you take for granted.

In the fiirst instance you would think, it ok you can drink something else, but in reality you cant wash, brush your teeth, flush the toilet, have a shower/bath....the list goes on!

So I left for work after many failed attempts to contact South Staffs Water - line was constantly busy and when I did get through they informed me to call back later, so it confirmed to me there was a major issue. As I was already late for work due to trying to contact my supplier, I got stuck in major traffic. Now, I only live 10 mins drive from work (I really should walk) so a traffic jam is never on the cards. Turns out today, there is a burst water main cutting of the supply to most of my area and completley blocking all routes to the M5!!!

Apparantly the water will be sorted once they know what the issue is

So I'm not having the best start to a day today.

Kidding, Kidding, but that must suck, especially going to work With Bad breath, B.O., And a Rectum full of crap.

You are right, we do take water and electricity supply for granted, don't we .

Something similar happend to us recently (your problem sounds worse though)

We woke up and as you say, no drinking water, no baths, no nothing...Ours was fixed within about 2-3 hours luckily.

Also not too long after, we had no electric, another bugger lol, as we had no hot water (heated by combi boiler) no hair dryer (not that we had wet hair) no phone to even phone to see why it was off

We need to get one of the non-cordless ones

but all in all it can be quite stressful, Hope it gets sorted soon Daz

I'm in Hollywood mate and ours is OK (Severn Trent) this morning. Darn ... I've probably jinxed it now !

Hoo is down 'Sarf' so I doubt his is affected.
