I recently booked a week away to the greek island Kos with 2 mates. It's one of those twenty's packages. One of my mate's first time abroad as he only got his passport last year, and my first time abroad without the family. Nervous but excited. Has anyone been on one of these sorta holidays? What can you tell me about it so I have a better idea of what to expect.

I'm going with my gf (and Sophia hopefully) to seychelles for 3 and a half weeks at the end of June...I would be looking forward to it, but that means my exams will come quicker...but when they're done, I can't wait Should be pretty good...although I miss my Radiohead concert...and DeathCab are touring england when I'm gone :( bad timing eh...at least theres no footy (apart from euro final )

Seychelles sounds sweet. A beautiful part of the world there. Quite a lengthy stay too. Typical luck there, mate, missing all the other stuff. But the Euro final??? I thought we wouldn't be too bothered about that seeing as England didn't make the qualifiers

Ye, it is a good way to find out if you had a good night, although i find the best nights out are when you wake up tipsy = no hangover, and some funny times ahead I was at home once, and had to help my dad chop a big tree down rather tipsy
England play shocking football so the only bad thing is that Manu and Chelski players will be fresh for next season, where as most of the gooners are involved in the euros...should be able to grab the final over there though (sky?)
TBH I'm not one for drinking myself silly like a couple of my other mates do. To get merry and help me enjoy the night a bit better is enough for me. I'm a bit of a lightweight when it comes to drink anyway. The parties and games they'll apparently put on sound fun. I'm gonna get real trigger happy with my digi camera.
Plus the guys and I want to occasionally do our own thing. Beach, tavernas, explore etc.

Rob and I have a week in the Costa Daurada booked up for 9th May (only 3 weeks to go). Can't wait for it to come round, it's only my 2nd time abroad and the 1st was absolute crud.
Some light drinking, exploring, and LOADS of photo's, late night walks on the beach, oh and Port Aventura theme park! I'm not fantastic in very hot temps, so that's why we chose May, with the idea of maybe getting away for a few weekend breaks during the school holidays after I start training to become a teacher.
We can't afford a holiday this year we bought our house in January the eldest is 18 in 3 weeks time and 2 weeks after that my BIL is getting married which is going to skint us out for a few months on top of that we have loads of DIY to get done and our garden to sort out in the summer.
Hopefully we'll have some really good days out as we've got so much great stuff around here.
