Real Life™/Real Problems - Wiitalk Agony Aunt/Uncle - Good idea?

Over on Snazy's FoolProof Guide to Dating - Part 1 there's been talk of a possible Agony Aunt/Uncle collaboration.

Do you have problems?
Would you like to talk to someone about them?

There's 3 people interested in doing such a service - snazy20, monkey & myself

Problems/questions would be either posted in the topic area
if you didn't mind going public or PM'd to one/all of us and a response would be posted in the topic with anonimity for yourselves..

..but one thing at a time.. is this even something that could be of benefit to the members here?

it wouldent really be usefull to me, cause i prolly couldent think of anything to ask, but i would enjoy reading others questions, and the answers, and i think it would be quite usefull to the other members.

True, that'd have to be an option - not having the response posted for others to see if ya don't want it to be.. privacy is important

I hear ya Simply seeing that you're not alone in a situation can be comforting in itself.. and seeing the response can help 2 or more people at the same time.. so if people don't mind their problem being posted with the reponse (with their name removed of course!) then all the better!

The only people that I know who read Agony sections do so for entertainment reasons, they like to laugh at other peoples expense, if we had 1, I wouldn't post in it. Then when it comes to posting deeply personal issues on sites like this you never really get a solution just a whole load of contradictory answers that in my opinion lead to further confusion rather than help to solve the issue.
