The WiiTalk PES Leagues - WiiLeet(Top League) Match Arranging & Discussion Thread

This thread is for the discussion and match arranging of games in the WiiLeet(Top League). Please use the other threads provided for posting results and discussion of the MiiLeet(Bottom League).

Rules:

• Everyone plays each other twice
• No fixtures - it's up to you to organise your games, it doesn't matter when you play, just make sure you are playing regularly.
• Remain Active - Make sure you are viewing this thread as often as possible so you can keep up to date with the leagues and sort out when to play people easier. If you are seen to be inactive you will be removed from the league and not accepted in future leagues run.
• Lag and Disconnects should be dealt with between yourselves. If this is not possible then me or one of the other league Admins will have the final say.
• Please change your TV setting to suit your opponent. I.E. if they are only able to use a 50Hz setting, please change yours to 50Hz if it's not already so and vica versa.
• The first time you play someone from the league will count as the official match between yourselves.
• All results are to be posted in the league results thread by Both players.
• If a game is a draw after full time, then the result will be a draw. The Penalty Shootout will be ignored.
• A win counts for 3 points, draw counts for 1 point and a loss counts for 0 points.
• The 2 teams that finish bottom will be relegated to the MiiLeet
• Most Importantly - Have Fun! There is no prize for winning this league, it is simply a way of getting the members who enjoying playing this game together and playing Please don't take it too seriously... We're not playing MoH here!

I went for Tom. Whilst I think that just about everybody in the league is equally matched on any given day, I've seen what Tom can do with Ronaldo and it aint pretty to watch if your the opposition.

Really it's anyone's league though.

I was wondering what people thought of a sportsmanship rule between ourselves:

When KO happens - it seems lag is at the most for a good 5 secs, cos when i have the ball I can see that the opponent is lagging (not always), and sometimes I lag when the opponent has it...

So maybe from KO, for a bit of fair play - we can pass backwards, then go forwards? I tend to do this whilst I wait for the opponent to get upto full speed, so if anyone else would like to join, that would be cool

But its only in the spirit of fairplay, not a must...

As for the poll, I'm undecided as yet...

Although, i think Snazy is the best as an all-rounder that I've played against so I'll plump for him. I normally get these sort of things wrong though!

Although, i'd have to confirm my whereabouts about 2.30ish, as Saturdays can be occasionally (timewise) a bit weird ...
