Had an epic free match last night, I was Germany (There names are not the real names for some reason :S) against this guy who was France. The guy i was playing was pretty good and i had some sloppy defending to concede two in the first 9 minutes to leave the score at
2-0, around mid first half he struck again to make it
3-0, i was looking all but beaten already but i perservered and could have pulled one back on 40 minutes but for a great tackle. My spell of pressure ended with me recieving a penalty on 45 minutes for a terrible tackle by the opponent, converted:
3-1 at half time.
Second half started slowly and with no real chances for either side occuring over the first 5 minutes. Around the 50 min mark i put some neat play together with some great skill to create a great goalscoring opportunity, converted:
3-2, game on. The game then opened up more with me going for the equaliser and the opponent trying to get the fourth. I could have got an equaliser on 70 minutes but i was snuffed out by a sliding tackle, he then stole away 9 minutes later with some good play and converted the opportunity:
4-2, i seemed to be completely out of the game, on 82 minutes i broke through with quick, slik movement and scoring in smooth fashion:
4-3. I narrowly missed on 88 minutes and i though i'd lost, until stoppage time when i broke through, the original shot was knocked into my path, the opponent hesitated and i ran on to smash the ball into the net with the games last kick. Cue celebrations:
