FIREFOX!!!

the speedtest will indeed get the correct speed of your connection, but on a normal day-to-day basis if your computer can't process the 'net's info coming in your internet will be really slow.

Me too Is it 18mb then Skyman or 20mb service you subscribe too? Still amazing speeds whatever

I phoned Virgin Media this morning and will be changing to o2 Broadband within the next few weeks. Im still on a whopping 0.03MB hehe!

What, so I am guessing I have good speeds

I don't know what we subscribe to, but according to the website it looks like the highest plan they have is 12.00 MB. I know they said they were upgrading the servers around here, so maybe that is what it is about. And I am on wireless, which cuts the speed down, so I wonder what I would have on a wired connection. But these are off peek hours. 3 AM isn't exactly bustling with internet users.

And just for the record, I think my mom told me that we are getting a deal for new members. It is like you get Cable, Internet, and Phone for only about the equivalent of 45 quid a month.
