Thats the Martydom perk! i hate that so much but one day i thought hey i can choose that too so i did and its quite fun watching people blow up after you have died.
One gripe with COD4 is that knife kills when using the last stand perk dont register! So i cant complete that challenge boohoo.

I never use it! whats the difference between them and claymores? (not used any explosives come to think of it)

C4 you have to detonate yourself where as the claymores are detonated by the would be victim
You press L1 (ps3) to throw the C4 and L2 to detonate it, i love putting it on the ceiling above a machine gun and when i see a red dot coming from that part of the map *click* and there dead and they dont know whats hit them. Also if i am being chased and quick drop and carry on running then *click* a second later there most probaly dead. Its good for chucking through windows and clearing rooms or getting people on Wetworks who like to camp on top of the containers.

I'm willing to bet 25% of my kills today have been from Martyrdom though as I've been playing normal TDM
