What comp are you using

Hey, I just wanted to see what computers everyone is using, because Microsoft seems to be the computer of choice in the US, but I dont know whats dominant in the UK.

Sorry if I was unclear, but I mean the operating system. If you pick other, then tell.
And if you use more than one OS, just say which one you use primarily.

When you ask what comp, do you actually mean which operating system? Most modern PCs are actually IBM compatible rather than being Microsoft (who as you know make software) computers.

If you mean which OS then you should also include UNIX and Linux in your poll.. .. .. ..

Oh, and I'm using OSX, Windows 95 and Windows 98 at the moment.. .. .. .. I guess that puts me in the 'other' category.. ..

If you were in fact asking what operating system i am using then its XP on my main PC and XP and Linux on the second.

I'm using a Gateway laptop. But I also use an Apple iMac.

And the operating system on the laptop is Microsoft Windows Vista

I use Vista Ultimate on my desktop PC and Vista Premium on my Samsung laptop.
The PC I use was built from scratch using my very own hands.

I recently brought a Dell latitude D600 laptop off eBayfor £100 (bargin) and im dual booting xp and ubuntu (linux)

Yep, I got 2 XP Home PCs, plus a laptop that's running either 95 or 98 (can't remember)

I run windows 2000 on the laptop and XP on both home PCs. Also have a small server PC running Server 2003
