When you ask what comp, do you actually mean which operating system? Most modern PCs are actually IBM compatible rather than being Microsoft (who as you know make software) computers.
If you mean which OS then you should also include UNIX and Linux in your poll.. .. .. ..
Oh, and I'm using OSX, Windows 95 and Windows 98 at the moment.. .. .. .. I guess that puts me in the 'other' category.. ..

I'm a network admin and all our machines have XP but to be honest i really like vista. If it wasnt for that fact it would take the users ages to get used to and that its awkward to administer on a network, i'd upgrade all the machines to vista.
I use vista at home because all it has to do is run some apps and connect to the net.

But what about the likes of WoW and CS:S? These are true instances where the PC is starting to take over the gaming community, and rightfully so.
This said, I would still never call a PC a console as it isn't one in my opinion.
My machine is actually dual booted. On my main Hard Drive i have Windows Vista and then on my EXTERNAL, Western Digital HD (1TB), i have the new Apple Leopard OSX running, which i must say is very, very impressive! Well worth getting! That is one "additional" operating system i would recommend. Otherwise, if you dont have a PC, i would consider getting a Mac, they are class
