I'll probably try out that Spyware program, thanks.

Just wanted to mention that it is best to have several spyware scanners as they don't all catch everything. You should probably only have one real-time scanner though.

Thanks for those! Not only did you remind me that I need to do a Spyware scan, but a Spyware remover with real time protection could come in handy. There's also Spybot: Search and Destroy, if anyone wants another spyware remover, and Spyware Blaster, whcih limits what gets on in the first place.

Ad-Aware SE is also a great Freeware tool.

I used to use adaware but the PC police at work uninstalled it :(

I'll have a go with S&D.

With Revo - is that start up app. able to speed up the start? Mine has just taken 15 mins! Admittedly when I'm in the work's system there's a lot of virus stuff to load up and our firewall is probably better than MI5's, but still there must be some junk I can remove from start. If so, I'll download, hack around the laptop, then remove before going back into the office.

I hate anti virus things, they do you more worse than good and lag your computer to hell!. I use free AVG which is ok, but I'm not wasting loads on some junk.
