Wirless internet

Hi, I use a desktop computor with a wireless usb that picks up the internet from and routor near by. I used to use windows zero configuration to mange the Wireless connection but that stopped working for reason I'm un aware of and know am forced to use the belkin software which is crap.

does anyone know what program i could use or how to get windows zero configuration back?

p.s sorry for spellign wireless wrong in the subject =(
