Default Wired network, need wireless

IS there anything like some kind of wireless adapter i can plug into one of the ports in my router to have a wireless connection? I do not want to lose the wired network for the computers in my house, but want wi-fi for my wii. :? :(

You could simply plug in a wireless router, thats how I have mine set up.
Personally I'd wait till you can get a USB wired-network adaptor for the Wii.
I only used a router as I already had one lying around.

Think of something from your childhood, a vivid memory. Between that time and now, every cell in your body has changed. So, were you really there?

Ashy is right.

Although I would never have a wirless network again. I would look at getting ethernet over power adaptors, check out a company called Solwise, great bit of kit.

Wifi is wicked!! I cant live without it! Wired is such a pain in the backside. If you have a decent router you shouldn't have a problem. Get yourself a netgear wireless router teessider. they are about £70 the one i have has 4 ethernet ports and really decent wireless range! Alternatively get the new Apple Airport Express which has the best range you can get at present and the fastest wireless aswel. its £120 from the apple store and it does work with PC's! They are very easy to set up aswel!

looks like it would but the description is really vague so you cant exactly tell whats its saying! Wouldnt it be much easier to say "plug this into your ethernet router too make a wireless network!" Thats if thats what its saying which i cant be sure on! but with a quick translation i kinda seems thats is what its going on about...:S

Its so easy and does fallout like wireless does. You plug on solwise adaptor into the wall, cat 5 cable to the router.

Then where ever you are in the house, plug the other adaptor in the wall, cat 5 cable to your laptop and there you go, instant data. No configuration at all and they are more secure than wireless and this data only travels within your property.

No you wouldn't. The Wii is using Wi-Fi so you don't need an adapter for the Wii.
