does anyone have an alienware pc? is it different to a normal pc where it shows the window icon, well basically, is it the same as a the usual home screen, u know...
area 51- 7500 has 4000gb and 4gb ram harddrive is that true? all for £999. and finally is Welcome the ONLY place u can buy these pcs?????? thanks

I have always liked Mesh computers they seem to offer a lot for the money and a great warranty.
Note its a DX10 graphic card.

AINT CHEAP? IVE FOUND A DESKTOP FOR £999 WITH FEW TERABYTES!! AND 4GB RAM! DO I DARE CONTINUE! but i see ur point about the ones that cost £3000!

lol - no need to SHOUT!

For an AlienWare PC that is cheap and infact it surprises me that they sell a model for that price!

It's more than I'd pay for a desktop PC. A laptop maybe, but then I dont play games on my laptop so my HP one will do me!

I'm no expert but a 4000gb hard drive alone would probably cost more than £300.

I almost bought that PC the other day. Main reason I didn't was that, although it has a DX10 card, there aren't any DX10 games yet! I think Halo 2 will be the first but I'm not sure when it's out. So it's probably best to wait until DX10 vista only games are more available until I get a new PC.

What hassles did you have with MESH?

As I said above I'm thinking about getting my new PC from MESH, since they always seem to get good reviews from PC magazines.

then dell bought them out (thats why you are now getting budget alienwares!)
