If you're a college or UNI student you could get a student version at a lower price than the normal retail price.

I would give Wiii openoffice a go - I work in I.T and we always suggest users to download this at home if they do not have office.

You could always try and get a cheaper OEM version of powerpoint.

Create a Mii Tag for your avatar.

Create a Wii Tag for your signature.
