Hopefully someone can help me out with this. I have bought a new projector, for use with my Wii, and laptop. However, despite being advertised as being able to be used with a laptop, a review I read begs to differ.

My laptop has a VGA socket on it, and the projector has an S-Video socket. Would one of these work to display the laptop display through the projector:

If so, is there anywhere that sells a longer cable, as I will need at least 2 metres, for a show I intend to use it in.
If not, is there another alternative that you can suggest. Otherwise the projector is going back.
