We just held the first game of the newly created WiiTalk Steam group, okay so only me and nutter played but it's a start.

If you want to schedule a game so other people know to join you contact either me, doylen05 or our new officer Chill. Again any complaints about this appointment please post here.

There is usually someone on the chat so ask there or just come to talk.

Um, we did quite good, suprising as the server we picked had about 8 people in it including us, 4/5 of them were hacking... (obviously, shaking screens is a sure sign, and the fact they all got headshots..all the time, no matter where they were aiming)...

True, there were quite a few hackers, but I had fun all the same.

We played CSS, assault, office and dust2. With the exception of assault (where I was at the bottom) we were middle or better most of the time.

I didn't realise that I have CSS until quite recently. So now I've downloaded and installed it. I'll need to practice the 1 player version a few times before I'm ready to be let lose. Though hopefully as the group grows we will get the chance to play against each other of even just chat, which is something that M_the_C and I managed to do about a week ago when we happened to find each other on Steam. I think I need a microphone!

Can anyone tell me, as I have a 5.1 surround headphone set, can I just add a mic or does it have to be a complete mic and head set to work for chat during games?

I'm not really playing the games I have online at the moment, I think it's best to start with those and if I like it then move on to TF2 or other online games.

So CSS and HL2: Death Match etc. will do to start off with.

i think just a microphone will work, my one (microsoft x-life USB thing, didnt work in XP, but thats probably my settings), im about to try in vista... and i've got a new account...
