Default Make XP look like Vista

Poking around the web today I decided to try out the Vista Transformation Pack by Windows X. I have to say it's brilliant. Take a look at the screenshots to see how well it works:

Before

After

Unfortuantely I can't get the windows to go transparent (though I think that's just because I'm using the shareware version of WindowsBlinds) and the tooltips disappear too quickly to read them :( Still looks great though

Better than installing Vista itself!

The version I'm using from Windows X’s Shrine shows up in the Add/Remove programs list, though I haven't tried uninstalling yet so I have no idea if it leaves bits behind. I've updated a few of the components from the pack on that site, they all have uninstall options too as does WindowsBlinds (I haven't tried the Vista Explorer posted by weejammer; anybody using it know if it works?). I'm also using Vista Drive Status program, which doesn't have an uninstall and is in Chinese :/ but it works perfectly anyway...

CrystalXP - Styler
- Visual Tooltip 2.1

Well I tried the above Vista Explorer, but it was a bit rubbish. So I got WindowBlinds working instead, and hey presto! I now have transparent window borders

Sorry weejammer, that sounded rude of me. Vista Explorer is actually the Vista graphics and stuff ripped out of Vista for you to use on XP (or so it seems to me). So if you replace your XP explorer with it, and IExplorer with the included Vista version, you get pretty transparent windows and different buttons. But none of your other windows get skinned and I was a little concerned it might not update through windows update, or if it did it would simply overwrite the old XP versions again. WindowBlinds costs $19.95 for the full version but it works really well. Of course there are other ways of 'obtaining' the full version of WB if you want to try it...

No it did not sound rude at all... I had no idea what the program did other than the description about it.

I know WB but I lost patience with all that. I only really work on my site these days so my system is at a low priority.
