Done business on Ebay loads of times but think I've been screwed for the first time.

Bought a gold ds (the zelda one) from here, it was unopened but to my horror theres lots of dead pixels on the top screen, well i think they are.

Getting no reply as yet from the trader!!!

Raise a dispute asap with ebay and paypall;

Most traders hope to ignore you long enough for the time limit (for raising a dispute) to lapse.

take a photo of the dead pixels so it can't be denied by the seller as well.

I've been shafted twice on flea bay but always got my dosh back

Ebay is a fasinating thing. Compared to the praise it gets and money it makes (which is an awful lot) it's still a pretty unreliable service. I've took place in just over 20 buys/sells and have had a few dodgey customers (not to the extent of that). Every time I buy I feel a bit worried about what will turn up...that's if it does at all

As for selling your pretty well covered. But like I said before, it's the biggest world market and yet there's no protection to petty theives. It's pretty odd really how such a global market is aware of the dodgey goings on - yet the risk people take... The first step I'd take is to Negative feedback him. Then you could report him or demand a refund.

I guess NoE wont touch it as its not a European model.

amazon.co.uk is defo the better option. You can get cheap deals from the new and used section and are guaranteed a half decent product for money off.

I'll be buying my DS soon, got £76 so far! Just need to sell my old phone and my old PS2 and I'll have enough money for that and a game! Woo!
