nintendo stars - WiiTalk

do we only get them on wii purchases or is it any nintendo console/game?

thing is we recently brort a ds along with a few games (all new) but theres no stars or nothing in anything - at least i dont think there is! or are they not on a card like with the wii?

i just thort you got points for any game/console nintendo related!

what games have you got? i think the points only come in nintendo first party games like mario, animal crossing, zelda etc.

I cant recall whether I got points with my DS but I've definitely got some with the first party games.

the ds had nothing
then we got drawn to life, sonic rush, and a 4in1 monopoly and other things game

Was it an old DS or a DS Lite? My DS Lite came with points, but if it was a brand new old DS (if that makes sense!) then it might be too old to be included with the points. And from the games you have listed, none of them are first party Nintendo games, so it is unlikely they will come with points.

I definitely got stars with my DS Lite, Mario 64DS, Metroid (basically all first partly). I don't know whether Nintendo have some grand plan to cut the stars out in favour of points - I could never find anything worth trading stars for

its a ds lite (normal ds was cheaper but doesnt look as sexy!) im gonna have another route in the box!!! dam it nintendo the rob dogs!!

We have discussed on the forum before that some retailers remove the stars voucher from the boxes!

Game was mentioned. Of my handhelds, I had stars vouchers with one Gameboy Micro and one original DS although I did not get stars with one DS Lite and one GameBoy Micro, and guess what? They both came from Game!!! (Online)

As JB said, you only get stars with 1st Party Nintendo games, so those games you have bought would not have had any.

But the DS should have done, if it was new, and it is a voucher similar to that in the Wii box, with a scratch section to reveal the code.

Who did you buy it from, Hayley?
And was the box wrapped in cellophane or was it open?

I've actually brought some cellophane wrapped games that have come with no stars too.
Can't trust anybody eh!!!!!!

This is even worse! I scratched off the panel and it was like glue....

I emailed the pic to Ninty.... twice, with no reply.
