Need Urgent Help On Metriod Prime For Gamecube

i am having trouble with Meta Ridley. i can get him on the ground but he always kills me.
he has killed me about 6 or 7 times. has anyone got any hints or tips????
Please help as i would like to complete it in time for metriod prime 3

When he lands and starts frequently charging you the best advice I can give is make sure you time the strafe perfectly to get out of the way of it.
If you avoid it he will return to normal stance, blast him in the mouth as much as you can when he opens it and then when his chest opens up unleash a super missile on him.
When he charges up his beam and when he raises his head ot charge (but be ready to move ASAP) are good times to blest him

Good luck with metroid prime - the final boss ,its a world of difference harder
