Trauma Centre has died.

Horror of horrors, Trauma Centre has died and the defibrillators don't seem to be working.
I insert the card and all I get on the DS main screen is 'There is no DS card inserted'. At first I thought it was my DS, but when I tried some other cards they all worked fine.
I'm pretty sure it is out of warranty now. Is there anything I can do or has Trauma Centre died on the table?
Has anyone else had this happen to other games?

Buy the same game again, stick the busted copy of the game back in, take it back for a full refund. If GAME or wherever refuse a refund remind them that it is your statutory right to a refund for a faulty product.

The kind of people who work in my local GAME wouldn't know how to spell fraud, let alone know what it actually is!
